Origin: Muchamiel, Alicante, Spain, late 19th century

Measurements: Ø 24.5 cm x 9 cm high

It comes from a "maset" (country house) in the surroundings of Muchamiel and was formerly used for the preparation of salmorreta, alioli, or ajo de mortero, essential ingredients in traditional stews from the Alicante vegetable gardens.
